Thoroughly entertaining continuation of what got rolling in First Class, this is arguably the best X-Men movie that Fox has made. They’ve assembled an excellent group of actors who can capably handle the roles they’re given, but it helps that they’ve got a solid story to back them up. Fassbender and McAvoy continue to be the main attraction, but Nicholas Hoult’s Beast and Peter Dinklage’s turn as the villain also get high marks. For the first time in what seems like forever, I’m excited to see what Bryan Singer has in store for us next.
