Judd Apatow kind of sucks now, right? I feel like the guy hasn’t made a funny movie in years…and The King of Staten Island is certainly not a return to form. I didn’t really like any of the characters in the movie nor did I find their arcs to be intriguing. I’m sure this film works for someone, but it definitely didn’t for me. Another swing and a miss from Apatow.
