Leather Bar. feels more like a college lecture than a film, and we all know how dull those can be. This story could have been better realized within the context of a documentary, and the subject matter is ripe for that format. Instead, we are being talked to by James Franco and Company about how they are going to “reimagine” these lost scenes from Cruising but barely deliver on their promise.
