Adam McKay and Will Ferrell are scrapping the bottom of the barrel for ideas nowadays, so it is no surprise that the sequel to their greatest success was mediocre at best. With a handful of laugh-out-loud moments, Anchorman 2 just comes off as sad, like a 24-year-old at a high school party.
